Ideal destinations to visit in 2017
The New York Times magazine of the United States recently listed ideal destinations for tourists around the world in 2017.
In addition to familiar names like Canada, India and Europe, the list also includes exciting destinations in Africa and Scandinavia.
Among these destinations, we can name 10 places that will surely captivate visitors.
1. Canada
Canada is the second largest country in the world, with modern cities, natural wonders and plenty to explore. 2017 is a great time to visit Canada because this year the country celebrates the 150th anniversary of the unification of the colonies.
There are over 200 national parks and historic sites that offer free admission year-round.

You can visit from the natural lakes and peaks of Banff in Alberta to the red sandstone cliffs and rolling dunes of Prince Edward Island along the Atlantic coast or marvel at the young, ever-snow-covered mountains of Labrador.
Meanwhile, cultural events have been planned in the capitals of Ottawa and Montreal, with an estimated 375 events taking place throughout the year of commemoration.

2. Agra, India
Agra Fort is located just outside the colorful Taj Mahal. 2017 is a promising year to visit this area as the streets near the wonder have been renovated.

3. Zermatt, Switzerland
Zermatt, located next to the legendary Matterhorn mountain, has been attracting tourists since 1898 when the Gornergrat train and Switzerland's first electric railway began operating.
To mark the 200th anniversary of the first railway, the five-star resort, located on a 7,290-foot plateau facing the Matterhorn, will open in December.

A new museum dedicated to fashion icon Yves Saint Laurent will open in fall 2017 in Marrakesh, showcasing thousands of sketches, haute couture garments and accessories.
The 43,000-square-foot Majorelle Garden will also celebrate its 60th birthday in 2017. Another popular tourist attraction is the Berber cultural museum and the famous designer's private home, the Villa Oasis rose garden.

10. Osaka, Japan Bhern
