Poor households are supported to build new houses up to 40 million VND/household.

From August 15, 2022, the new policy related to housing support for poor and near-poor households in poor districts will be officially applied according to the provisions of Circular 01/2022/TT-BXD of the Ministry of Construction.

Accordingly, Article 7 of this Circular stipulates housing support for poor and near-poor households in poor districts under the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the 2021-2025 period in the form of building new or repairing houses.

Specifically, poor and near-poor households: Supported to build new or repair houses, sign a commitment and register with the People's Committee at the commune level, propose house model, new construction or repair method. The norm in this case is 40 million VND/household/new house; 20 million VND/household/repair house from the central budget.

The criteria for poor households to receive support are detailed in Article 3, Circular 01/2022, including:

- Not having a house or having a house but the house is not durable when at least two of the three main structures: foundation, frame - wall, roof are made of unstable materials.

- Average housing area per capita is less than 8m2.

- Not yet received housing support from other policies.

And according to Article 5 of this Circular, the order of priority for poor households in housing support is as follows: Ethnic minorities; members who are meritorious people; members who are social protection beneficiaries; in especially difficult circumstances such as the elderly, single, disabled; living in areas where natural disasters frequently occur...

3 forms of exploitation and use of housing and real estate market databases

This is a notable content issued by the Government in Decree No. 44/2022/ND-CP on the construction, management and use of information systems on housing and real estate markets.

Accordingly, Article 24, Decree 44 stipulates that there are 3 forms of exploitation and use of the database on housing and real estate market, including:

Online:Through the Portal of the housing and real estate market information system at http://www.batdongsan.xaydung.gov.vn or through the Electronic Information Portal of the Department of Construction. Through a contract between the operator and the agency managing the housing and real estate market information system.

Through ballots, request documents:

According to the old regulations in Clause 1, Article 18, Decree 117/2015/ND-CP, the forms of exploitation include: Via the internet; via the website of the agency managing the database on housing and real estate market; via specialized networks; via request forms or documents.

By contractbetween the agency managing the housing and real estate market information system and the party exploiting and using housing and real estate market data according to the provisions of law.

This Decree takes effect from August 15, 2022.
