Besides being a TV channel MC and a famous actress, Minh Huong (Hoai Xu) in the hit movie Zippo, Mustard and You, still has a hidden "profession" that few people know about.

Minh Huong’s name became known through her teenage role in the movie “Nhat ky Vang Anh”. She was highly appreciated for her acting talent through her following roles. Most recently, she had roles in the movies Loi ru mua dong (Winter Lullaby), Zippo, Mu tat (Mu tat) and Em dang dau phan (You are causing a fever).

Taking on many jobs at the same time, Minh Huong always knows how to solve them, to ensure good work efficiency at the station and time for filming. However, few people know that in addition to her two current jobs, Minh Huong is also a professional pipa player. She has been training pipa for 10 years.

Actress Minh Huong shared: "Actually, that is my main major. But during my studies and work, I had the opportunity to become an actor, and until now, all my choices have been directed towards the essence of art."

Although it is my major and my strength, Minh Huong did not choose the pipa to develop my career. The reason was revealed by the actress: “If I choose this subject, I will have to perform in many places, which is very difficult when I have a family. Acting in movies, I may also have to travel a lot, but only for a short period of time. Therefore, if I choose music, I am afraid that I will not be able to meet the requirements, but it is still the most stable foundation, my main expertise. Now, even if I do not touch the instrument for a day or two, I miss it very much. Therefore, I still play the instrument, and occasionally when there are shows that require the pipa at the Conservatory, I still participate.”

The actress of “Nhat ky Vang Anh” expressed her desire to act in a historical film and play a female character who uses a pipa. Minh Huong hopes to have the opportunity to collaborate with more Chinese, Korean, Japanese television stations… so that the country’s film industry will develop more, typically with the films, Tuoi Thanh Xuan, Khuc Hat Mat Troi…

Somewhere in her acting career, Minh Huong still hopes to have the opportunity to fulfill her dream, but she is quite optimistic with a very open view: "I think I just keep dreaming, and hope that good things will come to me. If the opportunity does not come to me, maybe it will come to other young people, they have passion and will fulfill their dreams, so for me it is also a happiness".
