A typical example is the technical package "Rigid endoscopic intervention - Sclerotherapy of hemorrhoids" with PG60 drug, which the Hospital received from the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Traditional Medicine. After only 3 years of implementation, the "Sclerotherapy of hemorrhoids" method with many outstanding advantages (no invasive intervention, no pain, shortened treatment time...), has become the hospital's specialized spearhead technique. Up to now, the hospital has successfully treated nearly 1,400 patients with 15,177 injections; creating the brand mark of Nghe An Traditional Medicine Hospital.

In 2020, the hospital also received the transfer of the technical package "Diagnosis and interventional treatment of musculoskeletal diseases" from leading musculoskeletal experts of Hospital E.

After only 3 months of regular application at the Hospital, the new technique has been highly appreciated for its superiority (helps reduce inflammation, relieve pain, combined with traditional medicine methods to stimulate circulation, increase metabolism, relax muscles... thoroughly treat the root cause of the disease); becoming a "savior" for hundreds of patients with musculoskeletal diseases.

In addition, in recent years, the hospital has also received and routinely applied advanced techniques such as: "Treatment of sequelae of paralysis due to cerebrovascular accident"; "Aspiration of fluid, peripheral joint injection" technique...; to improve treatment effectiveness.

To successfully transfer new techniques and routinely deploy them at the unit, the Hospital has sent a team of doctors and nurses to study and gain practical experience at upper-level hospitals; after the training process, they will be granted certificates to deploy at the hospital.

Recently, 5 doctors and 1 nurse of Nghe An Traditional Medicine Hospital received certificates of continuous training under Project 1816 after 3 months of being sent for practical training at the Central Traditional Medicine Hospital; with the transfer techniques of "Electroacupuncture - Hydroacupuncture to relieve pain for cancer patients" and "Examination and preparation of medicine for gynecological treatment".

The hospital also regularly coordinates with upper-level medical units, inviting experts to organize training courses, in the form of "hands-on training"; at the same time, providing financial support and creating maximum conditions for officers and civil servants to participate in training courses, in order to improve the qualifications of doctors and medical staff.

Along with that, the Hospital also creates all conditions for staff to participate in scientific research and innovation initiatives, and annually organizes professional competitions for doctors, pharmacists, nurses, technicians and has a form of reward for individuals with high achievements; in order to create a vibrant emulation movement, encourage creativity, improve the expertise and professional skills of staff, and at the same time effectively apply them in practice, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment.
