(Baonghean.vn) - On July 7, the People's Committee of Dien Chau district deployed troops to protect the construction of Dien Doai overpass on National Highway 48 over the North-South Expressway. On the first day of carrying out the task, the authorities did not encounter any acts that hindered the construction activities.
The construction protection area is about 300m long, located on National Highway 48. Photo: Thanh Thanh Nhat TuanThe reason why the People's Committee of Dien Chau district had to organize protection for the construction of Dien Doai overpass over the North-South expressway is because recently, 14 households with land along National Highway 48 have carried out some acts to obstruct the construction. The households said that the construction of Dien Doai overpass on National Highway 48 over the North-South expressway has reduced the commercial value of their land, and requested compensation or resettlement. Photo: Thanh Thanh Nhat TuanAccording to the People's Committee and the Land Clearance Council of Dien Chau district, the request of 14 households is unfounded. Because, in the previous phase, when upgrading National Highway 48, the households received compensation, the traffic safety corridor was marked at the scene; meanwhile, the Dien Doai overpass over the North-South Expressway is located entirely on the main axis and within the National Highway 48 corridor, not encroaching on the land of the related households.
