TripAdvisor has just published a list of hotels with unusual architecture, offering unforgettable experiences for travelers.

Innel Hotel Zaandam, Amsterdam, Netherlands

The first impression of the hotel is its stacked houses. This unique architecture is inspired by traditional houses in the Zaan region. The hotel's green facade is eye-catching and easily visible from afar. It's located near Zaandam train station, so it only takes about 12 minutes to get there.

Faralda Crane, Netherlands

This crane hotel was part of the Amsterdam shipyard, operating from 1894 to 1979. Today, it has become an extremely cool hotel. Located 50 meters above sea level, the hotel has only three rooms for guests. If relaxing atop an old industrial area isn't exciting enough, you can use a rope to free-slide from the crane.

Sheraton Huzhou Hot Spring Resort, Huzhou, China

Famous for its donut-like design, the Sheraton Huzhou Hot Spring Resort offers amenities and services that are even more appealing than its exterior. The resort's two buildings are connected by a bridge near the water's edge. At night, the resort features a spectacular light show, with its unique architecture being the highlight.

Jersey, Czech Republic

Built in the 1960s, this hotel resembles a bizarre object from a science fiction movie more than a place to relax. Situated at an altitude of 1,012 meters above sea level, it offers stunning views of the Czech countryside.

Sun Cruise Resort, Donghae, South Korea

If you want to travel by cruise ship but are afraid of seasickness, then come to Sun Cruise Resort. Dubbed the "first luxury cruise ship on land," this resort offers its guests all the experiences of a luxury ship, except for seasickness. The resort even has a rooftop with stunning ocean views.

9 Hours Capsule, Kyoto, Japan

At this hotel, guests can spend the night alone in a capsule-style sleeping room. Inside, there is a sleep monitoring system to help guests recharge their energy.

Spitbank Fort, Portsmouth, England

Located in the middle of the ocean, this hotel has a stark, rounded concrete exterior. In reality, it was formerly an outpost, later transformed into a private island with a luxury hotel. It features a rooftop pool and a sauna.

Free Spirit Spheres, Qualicum Beach, British Columbia, Canada

Nestled in a coastal rainforest on Vancouver Island, the hotel is designed like a treehouse with a suspension bridge, offering a unique experience in harmony with nature. Before entering their rooms, guests can stroll along elevated walkways and spiral staircases.

Aurora Express, Fairbanks, Alaska

The two hotel owners, Mike and Susan Wilson, renovated old train carriages into a unique and creative retreat called Aurora Express. Each room is themed based on different periods of Alaska's history. The rooms are arranged along more than 200 meters of track and offer views of the Tanana River, the Alaskan Mountains, and the city of Fairbanks. You don't have to worry about being transported somewhere while you sleep, as the train is actually stationary.

Wigwam Motel, Holbrook, Arizona

While it may not look particularly luxurious, the Wigwam Motel offers guests cozy and comfortable bungalows. Influenced by Native American culture, Frank Redford began building the hotel chain in the 1930s, and only three remain today.

La Balade des Gnomes, Durbuy, Belgium

Outwardly, it looks like a rural residential area, but it's actually a unique hotel with 10 guest rooms. Each room's design is inspired by fairy tales such as the Trojan Horse and the sailing ship.

Costa Verde, Costa Rica

This hotel, nestled in the Costa Rican rainforest, is actually the frame of a Boeing 727. The hotel owner purchased the old plane and transported it from San Jose International Airport to the lush Manuel Antonio National Park. It was then refurbished and transformed into a luxury hotel, situated on a platform over 15 meters high. From here, guests can enjoy stunning views of the ocean and the surrounding rainforest.
