Difficulties await Tieu Vy on the road to Miss World 2018

On the evening of September 16, beauty Tran Tieu Vy was crowned Miss Vietnam 2018. In addition to the crown, the 18-year-old female student became Vietnam's representative at the Miss World 2018 arena held in China. Tieu Vy only left in November but she did not have much time to prepare for the world's largest beauty contest that requires many different skills.

1. Send your application to the Miss World organizing committee:The Miss Vietnam Organizing Committee said that right after the coronation night, Tieu Vy's information was sent to the Miss World organization and she is waiting for an invitation to participate in the contest. Currently, the information of the Vietnamese representative is updated on the contest's homepage, but there are no specific photos. Tieu Vy also needs to ask permission from Vietnamese authorities to compete internationally.

2. Prepare the Charity project:The Charity competition is an important part of the Miss World competition. In 2017, Vietnam won this competition for the first time with the project "Carrying electricity to the village" by Do My Linh. Therefore, this year, Tran Tieu Vy is expected to continue the success of her senior.

The key point of all Charity projects is to aim for long-term benefits, contributing to improving the lives of those being helped.

3. Practice performance skills:"Top Model" is also an important competition, with three winners going on to win the Miss World crown. As for Tieu Vy, who doesn't have much catwalk experience, she needs to speed up her training before participating in the international competition.

In the "Fashion Beauty" competition within the framework of Miss Vietnam, Tieu Vy was always assigned the vedette position with high-slit or bulky dresses. However, she only performed at a safe level, not leaving a unique impression on the judges and the commentary panel. Even in the bikini competition, the 18-year-old beauty tripped when returning backstage.

4. Physical training:At Miss World, contestants must go through the "Sports Beauty" activity. This is also a sub-competition that is counted towards the total score of the process.

5. Talent show:At Miss Vietnam 2018, Tieu Vy sang "Hon Que". However, a Vietnamese song will be difficult to score points with the judges due to the language barrier, not to mention the beauty's singing ability.

6. Presentation Competition:Since 2017, Miss World has added a "Confrontational Presentation" contest, giving the audience the opportunity to observe the contestants more closely. They are divided into groups, discussing and expressing their opinions on issues with each other. The contestant with the highest rating in the group goes straight to the top 40. In 2017, Do My Linh also won this challenge. However, this presentation requires fluent English and confidence in communication. These are still Miss Tieu Vy's current shortcomings, requiring her to make efforts to improve in the next short month.

7. Prepare clothes:To participate in Miss World, Tieu Vy must prepare dozens of dresses, especially the evening gown for the final night. In addition, she needs to learn makeup and hairdressing to do it herself during the upcoming international competition. The organizing committee only supports the contestants' makeup on the final night.
