Important notes when applying for university and college admissions in 2019
The Ministry of Education and Training has given notes to candidates when registering for university and college admission.
According to the Admission Regulations, the Ministry of Education and Training stipulates that each candidate can only adjust their admission registration (AD) once within the prescribed time and can only use one of two methods: online or by AD form.
Candidates who have their exams/subjects reviewed will adjust their registration wishes after receiving the results of the national high school exam review.
You can adjust your wishes in 2 ways
Adjustment by online method: candidates use the personal account and password that have been granted to make adjustments to their admission wishes.
Note to candidates: this method is only accepted when the number of wishes after adjustment is not greater than the number of wishes initially registered in the Registration Form.

Adjustment by Registration Form: Candidates can adjust the number of wishes to increase compared to the number of wishes initially registered in the Registration Form and must pay additional fees for the increased number of wishes according to regulations.
Candidates must fill in all information on the Registration Form and send it directly to the document receiving point so that the computer staff can update it into the database of the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Portal.
Enter correct school code and major code
Candidates must enter the correct school code, major/major group code, and admission combination code according to the school's regulations. Any incorrect wishes will not be accepted by the software system and will be eliminated.
The Ministry of Education and Training requires that the application receiving point must ask candidates to check the results of their adjusted registration wishes within the prescribed time and request correction of errors (if any).
Use of identity card
The ID card is used when registering for the exam, registering for the preliminary selection and registering for the aptitude test. Candidates should note that they must use only one ID card so that they can later link the exam results, preliminary selection results and aptitude test results (if any);
Use account and password to access the system
Candidates should regularly access the system to check their exam registration and admission information to ensure there are no errors. If they have not received an account and password after registering for the exam, they must contact the registration reception point to get them.
Declaration of priority status
When declaring priority, especially priority admission, candidates must pay close attention to accurately declare. If unsure, they must ask the school or department for a thorough explanation. In 2017, there were many cases of incorrect declaration and upon admission, the university discovered that the declaration was incorrect, leading to loss of study opportunities.

To be able to choose schools, majors as well as arrange the order of wishes appropriately, candidates need to understand the regulations in admission such as: no limit on the number of wishes; wishes are ranked in order of priority; when one wish is accepted, the next wishes will not be considered and all wishes are considered equally.
