Honda car models on sale not to be missed

Accordingly, the selling price of the CR-V multi-purpose vehicle has been officially applied by Honda Vietnam with a new price of 1.008 billion VND for the basic 2.4 AT version, 150 million VND lower than the suggested price and 1.078 billion VND for the 2.4 AT-TG version, 100 million VND lower than the suggested price.

Since the CR-V was launched in Vietnam with suggested prices of 1.158 billion VND and 1.178 billion VND. Honda CR-V has really flourished at the end of 2014 with extremely impressive sales.

However, recently, the CR-V's sales have dropped dramatically due to its rival Mazda CX-5 taking advantage of its victory by initiating a price war. Even Honda dealers in Hanoi admit that they cannot explain why the CR-V, a multi-purpose vehicle that is "hot" in the world, has such disastrously low sales in Vietnam.

In addition, some leaked images show that Honda's price reduction is believed to be a step to pave the way for the latest version of the CR-V to be introduced by Honda in Vietnam this year.

With the current selling price, Honda CR-V is at a record low. However, this is only the suggested selling price by Honda, the actual selling price at the dealer may be even lower.

Accordingly, the suggested selling price of Civic is reduced from 950 million to 900 million VND.

Like the Honda CR-V, the Honda Civic has been offered many discounts and promotions to compete with other car models in the fierce car price war.

Specifically, last April, Honda Civic was directly reduced from 30 - 40 million VND, down to 910 - 920 million VND. In May, Honda also applied a new incentive for the Civic model with a cash discount of 45 million VND. In addition, customers also received a set of accessories when buying a car worth 20 million VND.

Meanwhile, according to the incentive program this June, two other Honda models, Accord and Odyssey, are also discounted by 100 million VND, down to 1.29 and 1.89 billion VND respectively.

Previously, in May, the Honda Accord model was also heavily discounted. Accordingly, customers who buy this model imported from Thailand will receive a discount of 30 million VND and a set of accessories worth 30 million VND.
