In Vietnam, 7-seat cars are often favored for their versatility, being able to transport many passengers in a body that is not too large, flexible enough to be used in many traffic conditions. That is also the reason why they become especially suitable for trips, especially when the Lunar New Year is coming.

Both are 7-seat vehicles, but while SUVs are more focused on performance, MPVs are optimized for passengers to enjoy the most convenience and comfort. Below are the most worth-buying MPV models in Vietnam right now.

Practicality: Suzuki Ertiga

With a selling price of only 639 million VND, the imported car from Indonesia is the cheapest MPV in Vietnam today, and at the same time has the most compact size. The car is 4,265 mm long, 1,695 mm wide and 1,685 mm high, making it convenient for the driver to maneuver in narrow urban areas, while still maintaining enough space for small families. The 7-seat seating structure is in the form of 5 + 2, the second row opens "one touch" for easy entry and exit.

Ertiga is equipped with smart key, Start/Stop button, entertainment system with CD player, USB/MP3 connection, 2-zone air conditioning with separate air vents for the rear seats. 1.4L gasoline engine has a capacity of 91 horsepower and maximum torque of 130 Nm, 4-speed automatic transmission. With 4 versions priced from 743 - 945 million VND, Toyota's familiar car model offers quite spacious space, even the 3rd row of seats is relatively comfortable for adults. The car has overall dimensions of length x width x height reaching 4,735 x 1,830 x 1,795 mm, wheelbase 2,750 mm, ground clearance 178 mm and turning radius 5.4 m.

All Innova versions are assembled domestically, using the same 2.0L gasoline engine, 137 horsepower and 183 Nm maximum torque. The E version has a manual transmission, the G, Venturer and V versions have an automatic transmission. Only the V version has a rear camera and a business-class second row with 2 separate seats, the remaining versions have a single seat. The most complete 7 airbags are only available in the Venturer and V versions, while the E and G versions have 3 airbags.

As an MPV option for financially well-off customers, the V-Class has two versions including the V220d (163 horsepower diesel engine, 380 Nm torque) and the V250 (211 horsepower gasoline engine, 350 Nm torque), 7G-Tronic Plus 7-speed automatic transmission, starting price from 2.569 billion VND. The car is 5,140 mm long, 1,928 wide, 1,880 mm high and has a wheelbase of up to 3,200 mm. With a 70-liter fuel tank, the V-Class can travel 800 km with one fill-up.
