1. It is worth mentioning that after the collapse of the Soviet Union and the socialist countries in Eastern Europe, the socialist system in the world entered a historical turning point in its long development. In Russia, there were quite a few opportunistic figures demanding the abolition of the path of the October Revolution, demanding the removal of Lenin's remains from Red Square, most vehemently during the years 2001-2003. In October 2005, G. Poltavchenko, a senior advisor to President Putin, caused a stir when he brought up this crucial issue again. More recently, V. Lavrov, Deputy Director of the Russian Institute of History, suggested handing over the remains of Lenin and Stalin to their families or the Communist Party... But history always has its own voice. The October Revolution, the great Lenin, and the more than 70 years of Soviet history will always exist in their immortal historical significance.

Listen to and repeat the voices of conscience, of emotion, of the Russian people today. President Putin strongly opposed the idea of removing Lenin's remains from the mausoleum, a suggestion from his senior advisor. In an interview, Putin famously said: "Anyone who doesn't regret the collapse of the Soviet Union has no heart, and anyone who wants to restore it exactly as it was has no brain," to express his rational and sensible loyalty to the Soviet Union that nurtured him and many others. When asked why he supported using parts of the Soviet national anthem for the new Russian national anthem, he replied: "If we erase everything that existed before and after October 1917, it means we acknowledge that our forefathers lived a completely meaningless life. With both heart and mind, I cannot agree to that." Most recently, in a Russian newspaper on October 31, 2007, Mr. S. Mironov, Chairman of the Russian Senate, wrote: The great Russian poet Pushkin, in a letter to Chadayev (a Russian thinker and political commentator), once wrote: although there were many problems in Russian life that saddened and even offended the poet, he did not want to change his homeland or have a history different from that of his ancestors for any reason in the world. Shouldn't we have a similar attitude towards the October Revolution of 1917 and the entire Soviet period that followed? S. Mironov posed a question for everyone to consider: "Peace for the nations," "Land for the peasants," "Bread for the hungry," "Freedom for the slaves"... Who can say that these slogans, reflecting the needs of the vast majority of the people, are inherently wrong and morally sound? It must be added: Russians today still express and believe in socialism; they collectively signed the petition calling for Lenin's body to be kept in Red Square, in order to...

The cruiser Aurora continues to be anchored on the Neva River, so that the red stars still shine on the Kremlin towers, and the hammer and sickle symbol remains forever on the Victory flag...

2. There is a vivid reality in China, Vietnam, Cuba, and Laos... where the light of the October Revolution continues to illuminate these nations on their path of development. Under the wise leadership of the Communist Parties, they continue to creatively apply Marxism-Leninism, carrying out reforms full of vitality and hope. The unsuccessful experiences in building socialism in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe are being studied and summarized in a timely manner. Based on their own practical experiences, these countries are actively seeking theoretical and practical models for building socialism, primarily in using market economics and international economic integration to develop socio-economics and build the material foundations of socialism... Moreover, currently in Latin America, socialism is becoming the openly held belief of a large number of people of various nations on the path to building a new society. A wave of left-wing, left-wing leaders, revolutionaries, and workers, supported by the people, has come to power in a number of countries considered "America's backyard." Venezuelan President H. Chavez affirmed the socialist nature of the revolution, leading his country towards 21st-century socialism. The presidents of Bolivia, Ecuador, and Nicaragua all declared their unwavering commitment to building socialism in their respective countries. The banner of the October Revolution, miraculously, is flying brightly not only in China, Vietnam, Cuba, Laos... but also in the revolutionary atmosphere of the Western Hemisphere.

The Communist Party of Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh, and the Vietnamese people are forever grateful for the great October Revolution, a shining symbol of the aspirations and strength of socialism. The two greatest lessons of the October Revolution are the lesson of the power of the revolutionary masses and the lesson of a genuine revolutionary party, which the Party and President Ho Chi Minh have thoroughly applied throughout the Vietnamese revolution, especially in the Party's initiation and leadership of the comprehensive national renewal, creating tremendous and historically significant achievements over the past 20 years.

And there is an undeniable fact: the great and valuable lessons from the October Revolution remain ever relevant in the practice of reform and building socialism in Vietnam.
