The American magazine National Interest has ranked the best naval, air, and land forces in the world in three separate lists. Russia, the United States, and China stand out in all three lists.

According to this publication's assessment, the countries with the most elite fleets in the world are the United States, China, Russia, the United Kingdom, and Japan.

Russia has traditionally been considered a land power, but the Russian Navy also possesses a large number of warships. "The Russian Navy has 79 large warships, including one aircraft carrier, five cruisers, 13 destroyers, and 52 submarines," the report stated.

The list of the best armies, according to the National Interest's proposal, includes the United States, China, India, Russia, and the United Kingdom.

The Russian infantry is receiving advanced modern equipment – ​​they are well-equipped and fully mechanized. The infantry force numbers 285,000 men, according to the article.

The document's author also emphasizes that the upcoming equipment of the Russian army will include a unique armored vehicle based on the "Armata" platform. At the same time, NI suggests that the strongest army is that of the United States.

The NI ranking of the world's best air forces includes only four countries – the United States, Russia, China, and Japan. Russia has 1,500 fighter jets and 400 military helicopters. The Russian Air Force has entered a period of sustained modernization.
