Asus Zenovation

Asus has sent out media invitations to attend the Zenovation event on January 4, 2017. The company has not revealed any information about this event, but it is likely that the high-end Zenfone model will be launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip, running Android 7.1 Nougat operating system.

Another source also said that Asus may release another smartphone model called Zenfone AR, integrating augmented reality technology, part of the Tangle project in cooperation with Google, similar to Lenovo's newly launched Phab2 Pro product.

Samsung Galaxy A Series 2017

Following the success of the Galaxy A series, Samsung may launch the next generation including the Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 2017, with a completely different design from the 2016 and 2015 series, using a USB-C port.

Specifically, Galaxy A3 2017 can be equipped with 4.7 inch HD screen, Exynos 7870 chip, 2 GB RAM, 12 MP main camera and 8 MP front camera, 3,000 MAh battery.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A5 2017 model can use a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED Full HD screen, Exynos 7880 chip, 3 GB RAM and 3,300 mAh battery. The highest-end model of this line, the Galaxy A7, will have a screen up to 5.7 inches Full HD Super AMOLED, the same processor as the A5 2017 and 3 GB RAM, but the main camera is up to 16 MP and a 3,500 mAh battery.

In contrast to the high-end products above, the LG V5 is a low-cost or mid-range smartphone with a 5.5-inch screen and fingerprint sensor.

There is currently no information about LG's new high-end smartphone, although there was previous information that the company would stop producing phones to focus on audio-visual and home appliances products.
