Habits that keep you from getting rich
Rich people don't look forward to the weekend and don't dread Monday.
Self-made millionaire Grant Cardone (USA) was not born rich. "I have always worked hard to create wealth and success for myself, my family and my community. I was not born into luxury," he said.
Cardone doesn't blame anyone for being poor, but "I can't forgive people who think they're poor forever." According to Cardone, the following five habits will keep you stuck in this mindset and never get rich.
1. Living in the past

Successful people don’t obsess over what’s already happened. They always look forward. Of course, it’s okay to remember past achievements, but surround yourself with things you want in the future. They will motivate you.
2. Only good at talking
Don’t just talk about your goals, take action to achieve them. This is what successful people do. Whether they convince others of their vision or not, they focus on their products and ideas, investing in them day and night, taking their actions to the next level before others even know their name.
Set goals and a plan to achieve them. Once you understand what your goals are and why you want to achieve them, write down the steps you need to take to achieve them. Of course, everything has a time frame. Stick to those milestones.
3. Focus only on hours worked
Successful people don't care about working enough hours. They just focus on work performance. "People who struggle financially usually work for hours, not for productivity. That is, they get paid to work that many hours. When they have enough, they quit."Cardone said. Millionaires believe this view needs to change.
4. Setting goals too small
People with a “poor” mindset are taught to be average. Successful people, on the other hand, dream big. Tom Corley, author of “Rich Kids: How to Raise Your Children to Be Happy and Successful in Life,” has a similar view. He believes that rich people often benefit from “rich habits,” while others struggle because of “poor habits.”
Group 1 is always optimistic and loves life. They do not gossip and always inspire others because they know how to motivate and encourage them to pursue their ambitions.
Meanwhile, group 2 was negative and pessimistic. They felt sorry for themselves, like victims, and not responsible for their situation.
5. Excited about the weekend
Successful, wealthy people don't talk about the fact that it's Wednesday, and they don't celebrate the fact that it's Friday. Of course, there's nothing wrong with enjoying the weekend. But successful people don't dread Monday mornings. On the contrary, they see the beginning of the week as "a new opportunity to make their dreams come true."
If you have any of these habits, it's not too late to change. "You just have to make a decision and never go back," says Cardone.
