Support members to develop their capacity

At the ceremony, Nghe An Education Department had 4 grassroots union officials honored and received Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Labor Federation. Teacher Nguyen Van Tien - Chairman of the Do Luong 1 High School Union was one of them.

At Do Luong 1 High School, teacher Nguyen Van Tien is an excellent teacher, trusted by the Board of Directors, loved and respected by colleagues. He is currently assigned by the school to teach Physics to 5 classes (including grades 10 and 11); guiding students in the provincial science and technology competition. In the 2023-2024 school year, under the guidance of teacher Tien, 2 students won second prize in the provincial science and technology innovation competition. Teacher Tien himself is the valedictorian of the 2023 Provincial Excellent Teacher Award; has 1 provincial-level experience initiative in the field of Physics and 1 industry-level experience initiative type B in the field of trade unions.

It is known that teacher Nguyen Van Tien began his duties as Chairman of the Trade Union of Do Luong 1 High School in 2017. Over the years, Mr. Tien has strived to build a united and strong organization and unit through practical activities and methods... towards union members, such as: Arranging the most scientific timetable to create favorable conditions for teachers in their work; listening to the thoughts and aspirations of union members to promptly advise and propose to the Party cell and the school's board of directors to resolve them; meeting, encouraging, and giving gifts on holidays and Tet to union members; organizing recreational activities to improve their spiritual life, emulation movements, thereby promoting the strengths and abilities of each union member.

In the past school year, Do Luong 1 High School was selected by the Industry Trade Union and the Department of Education and Training as the venue for the "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Chia Chia" Program; and was selected by the Vietnam Education Trade Union as the venue for the Dialogue Conference between "Vietnam Education Trade Union and school staff". At the end of the 2023-2024 school year, the school's Trade Union ranked first in the Cluster Trade Union and was proposed by the Education Trade Union to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

Teacher Nguyen Van Tien said: The role of the trade union has been promoted, professional quality has been improved, all teachers are dedicated to their profession and students, and have a high sense of responsibility in scientific research. In the 2023-2024 school year, the school had 22 industry-level initiatives, including 6 type A and 16 type B.

Ensure good workers' rights

Like teacher Nguyen Van Tien, Chairman of the Trade Union of Minh Anh Kim Lien Garment Joint Stock Company Phan Dinh Tai is a very dedicated, creative, and responsible person towards the organization, unit, and union members. Taking on the role of Chairman of the unit's Trade Union from 2023 to present, Mr. Tai and the Executive Committee of the Company's Trade Union have actively carried out propaganda and mobilized workers to join the grassroots trade union (The Company has over 1,500 workers, to date, 100% have joined the trade union); ensuring that the trade union executive committee operates on an independent and public charter.

During the operation, Mr. Tai and the union executive committee members have fully updated the regimes, policies, and legal regulations related to the rights and benefits of employees; implemented maximum guarantees for the rights of union members and employees in the company; represented employees to fully participate in meetings with the company's leadership related to the benefits and rights of employees; participated in dialogue with employees in changing the salary scale...

In 2023-2024, the Trade Union of Minh Anh Kim Lien Garment Joint Stock Company coordinated with the company to successfully organize many meaningful movements, programs and activities, such as: "Union Shelter" program; "Union Meal"; "Happy Tet - Sharing Spring" giving gifts to workers in difficult circumstances; "Cooling off the Summer"; Voluntary blood donation...

There have been many programs and activities with the unique mark of the Trade Union of Minh Anh Kim Lien Garment Joint Stock Company, such as: Giving flowers and greeting cards on March 8 and October 20 to all female staff and employees; male and female tug of war to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8; "Minh Anh Charm" photo contest on October 20; "Music Arena Competition" program; photo area reserved for all staff and employees on special days such as: Lunar New Year, Christmas, March 8 and October 20 holidays...
