Foods containing carcinogens
Chemicals found in genetically modified foods, refined sugar, or popcorn can all cause cancer.
Today, we see an increasing rate of cancer worldwide, as well as in our own communities. Most people believe the causes are environmental factors and diet. While we cannot change environmental factors in the short term, we can change our diet.

A healthy meal should not contain genetically modified foods. However, genetically modified foods are becoming increasingly common and widely cultivated. Even products made from soybeans or corn can be genetically modified. The chemicals in these foods can cause tumors to grow faster. Before buying food, consumers need to choose carefully and limit their consumption of genetically modified foods to best protect their health.
Processed meat
Most processed meat products, such as smoked meats, sausages, and cured meats, contain preservatives to make them look appealing and fresh. However, chemicals like sodium nitrite and sodium nitrate found in these preservatives can increase the risk of cancer, especially colon cancer.
Microwave popcorn
Microwave popcorn is often convenient to cook, however, the bags used to package it contain chemicals that can cause not only infertility but also liver cancer, testicular cancer, and pancreatic cancer.
According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), perfluorooctanoic acid, found in popcorn bags, is a potential carcinogen.
Carbonated drinks

Like processed meats, carbonated drinks can also cause cancer. These drinks often contain high amounts of sugar, chemicals, and artificial colors. Carbonated drinks can acidify organs and nourish cancer cells.
Weight loss drinks
This type of beverage is even more harmful than carbonated drinks. Recent studies by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) show that aspartame, an artificial sweetener, can cause birth defects. Other chemicals such as sucralose, saccharin, and other artificial sweeteners are also carcinogenic.
Refined cereal flour
Refined grain flour is used in the processing of many foods. This type of flour contains a lot of carbohydrates (sugars). According to studies published in the British journal Cancer Epidemiology, regular consumption of carbohydrate flour increases the risk of breast cancer in women by 220%. In addition, the regular increase in sugar levels in the body also stimulates cancer cells to grow and spread more.
Refined sugar

Refined sugar increases insulin levels and stimulates cancer cell growth. Sugary drinks high in fructose, such as corn syrup, can cause cancer cells to grow rapidly. Cookies, cakes, pastries, and cereal drinks also contain high levels of this substance. This also explains why the number of people suffering from cancer has been increasing recently.
Dirty fruit
Many people think that eating fresh fruits like apples, grapes, or strawberries is very good for the body. However, that is only true if these fruits are truly "clean," meaning they are not sprayed with pesticides and other carcinogenic chemicals.
Farmed salmon

According to experts from the School of Health and Environment at the University of Albany (USA), farmed salmon is also a food that can easily cause cancer. Farmed salmon not only lacks vitamin D but also contains carcinogenic chemicals, pesticides, and antibiotics.
