1. 5th grade female student was molested by her teacher

The incident occurred on April 1, 2016, the victim was a female 5th grade student studying at Ban Khoang Primary School (Sa Pa - Lao Cai).

After receiving the above information, the authorities quickly investigated and identified the depraved teacher as AQS. Immediately, the Sa Pa District Police Investigation Agency decided to temporarily detain this subject to investigate the act of molesting students at school.

2. Security guard molested more than 20 elementary school students

Also in Lao Cai, on March 30, the Investigation Police Agency of Muong Khuong District Police (Lao Cai) prosecuted and detained Do Van Nam (35 years old, security guard at a primary boarding school for ethnic minorities) for child molestation. The students identified as being molested by Nam were aged 9-11, studying in grades 3 to 5 at the school.

Taking advantage of school hours or evenings when the students were at the boarding school, Nam would buy candy or snacks to lure the students into his security room and commit lewd acts.

3. The teacher put his hand under the female student's armpit to... teach the lesson.

In March 2016, a photo of a male teacher putting his hand under the armpit of a 14-year-old female student while teaching English at her home appeared on social media. The teacher in the photo was identified as Mr. Phan Van Quang, a Physics teacher at Nguyen Trai Secondary School (Chau Doc City, An Giang).

Explaining his actions, the teacher who has taught for 15 years at Nguyen Trai Secondary School said that his job in class was to help his wife correct students' papers.

According to this teacher, the act of pointing at a student by putting his hand under his armpit is “more convenient” than pointing at the student from the opposite side, which could cause him to miss them. Teacher T said the same thing happened to many other students.

4. Teacher molested many third grade students

On the afternoon of February 29, 2016, after seeing her daughter coming home from school with unusual behavior, Ms. T. (a parent whose daughter is in 3rd grade at Hung Binh Primary School, Hung Binh Ward, Vinh City, Nghe An) felt worried so she asked and was shocked to hear her daughter say that teacher Cao Van Dung (born 1984, IT teacher) hugged and touched her private parts.

Immediately, Ms. T. hurriedly called the president of the parents' association whose child was in the same class as her daughter. She said that her daughter had also reported that Mr. Dung had molested her during class.

On the morning of March 11, 2016, Mr. Tran Xuan Khang - Principal of Hung Binh Primary School said that Vinh City Police had come to work and collect documents to investigate the case of Mr. Cao Van Dung for sexually abusing students. The school held a council meeting to terminate Mr. Dung's labor contract.

5. Gym teacher sexually assaulted a second grader

After class on January 22, 2016, Bui Khanh Hoang (32 years old, residing in Chau Thanh, Tay Ninh province), a physical education teacher at Ben Truong primary school, Hao Duoc commune, Chau Thanh district, Tay Ninh province, called NTH (8 years old, 2nd grade student) to stay and went into the classroom. Here, Hoang controlled and did adult things with H. Then, Hoang let H. go home while he went to the house of an acquaintance.

Seeing that H. was late, her grandmother took her to take a bath. While bathing, H. complained of pain in her private area. Her grandmother examined her and discovered scratches and blood. At this time, H. described how Mr. Hoang had done adult things to her in the classroom. Her family immediately took H. to the hospital for examination and reported to the police. On January 23, Tay Ninh police arrested Hoang at the home of an acquaintance of Hoang.
