The most outstanding cars at the SEMA 2017 car show
From supercars to concept cars to the most bizarrely designed cars, you can always find them at the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas.
Virtual Toyota Camry model:The highlight of Toyota's booth this year is the 3D image simulating the 2018 Toyota Camry model with many different colors. Images from the car's design sketch to the interior parts of the car are shown slowly and in turn. In addition, mechanical parts such as the radiator, generator, and front suspension are also depicted by vivid 3D images. |
Hyundai i30 N:The i30 N race car that Hyundai brought to the show has the distinction of being one of the cars that finished the Nürburgring 24 Hours race this year, finishing 4th. |
Hyundai BTR Elantra Sport Concept:The Hyundai Elantra Sport is perhaps one of the best kept secrets among sport compacts, reimagined as a bright orange four-door that can conquer any track but still has all the usual features of a car for everyday use. |
Toyota C-HR R-Tuned:The C-HR is a great hatchback with 600 horsepower from a 2.4-liter I4 engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It comes with Brembo brakes, racing tires, and DG-Spec Motion Control suspension. |
Ford Mustang Boss 302:The Mustang Boss 302 looks stunning with its “PPG Khaki” yellow body and custom HRE wheels. The yellow isn’t from the paint, though, it’s from the carbon fiber panels. The supercharged 5.0-liter Roush V-8 also makes this car special. |
BMW 3.0 CSL 1973:The legendary 1973 BMW 3.0 CSL was spotted outside the convention center. It was equipped with an S52 turbocharger swap and featured a Group 4 widebody kit with center-lock BBS wheels. |
Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 AEV concept:At this year’s SEMA show, tuner American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) teamed up with Chevrolet to turn the ZR2 into a serious adventurer, and the result was a fantastic truck. Unfortunately, the company has no plans to modify the Colorado and put it into production, so this will likely remain a concept. |
Honda models:The Acura NSX, Honda Civic, Acura TLX, and Honda Ridgeline were all back on display at Honda’s booth this year, along with other new models. Honda and Acura also showed off new vehicle projects like the carbon fiber NSX and the “Dream Project” NSX. |
