(Baonghean) - Le Loi Primary School, formerly Hung Khanh Commune Primary and Secondary School, was established in 1962. At that time, the school had 2 levels of education, in which the main center taught secondary school and primary school groups studied at separate locations.

After a while, the school was divided into two separate levels. In 2009, due to the decrease in student numbers and the rearrangement of classrooms, the Primary School inherited the facilities of Hung Khanh Secondary School; at the same time, Hung Phu Primary School was merged with Le Loi Primary School.

With the attention of the Party Committees and authorities of the two communes, after nearly 10 years, the school's facilities and teaching and learning equipment have been continuously consolidated and enhanced. Along with actively improving the conditions of facilities, the Party Committee and the School Board of Directors regularly take care of building a team of teachers, improving the quality of teaching and learning; striving step by step to build a school that meets national standards.

On June 16, 2017, based on inspection and assessment, the School was recognized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee as meeting National standards from the 2016-2017 school year in the joy and pride of the school's staff, teachers, students and parents.

“The process of building Le Loi Primary School to meet national standards is a journey of overcoming difficulties. It is not only the determination of the teachers and students of the school but also the consensus and joint efforts of the people and leaders of the two communes” - Ms. Nguyen Thi Chung, Principal of Le Loi Primary School boldly confided. These are two purely agricultural communes, the people's lives face many difficulties; the population size is small, the average income per capita is still low, so the mobilization of social resources still faces many difficulties, and the resources for education are still limited.

With the effort to overcome difficulties and determination to build a standard school, the school leaders have proactively and flexibly taken advantage of the attention and direction of the two communes; on the other hand, they have consulted with each commune to have a suitable investment roadmap so that the commune, district and province can also participate. After nearly 10 years of striving, the peak of which was from the 2014 school year until now, with the active attention and participation of the two communes of Hung Khanh and Hung Phu; the effective support of the district and province, Le Loi Primary School has just completed the conditions and criteria according to the plan.

In less than 3 years, along with investing in other items to reach the new rural finish line (Hung Phu commune met the standard in 2016 and Hung Khanh commune is striving to reach the finish line), the School has invested more than 2 billion VND to complete the classrooms and functional rooms. Every year, in addition to spending 130-150 million VND/commune from socialized sources to upgrade facilities, the School also receives support from the district and province of over 300 million VND to complete the functional rooms.

Up to now, the school has 12 solid rooms, including 10 cultural classrooms and 2 subject rooms, ensuring learning conditions for 270 - 300 students; the office of the Board of Directors has been renovated to ensure professional pedagogical activities. In addition, to give the students a spacious and airy playground, the school has also been facilitated by the local authorities to expand the campus, renovate and rebuild the surrounding walls, gates, sanitary facilities, and a clean parking lot that meets the prescribed standards.

Along with improving the facilities, to improve the quality of teaching and learning, the School constantly focuses on improving the quality of the teaching staff by creating conditions for teachers to fully participate in training courses to improve their professional knowledge and pedagogical skills according to regulations. On the other hand, to have more resources and support the school in community education activities, the School builds a close coordination relationship between the school and the parents' association, between teachers and parents to supervise the education of their children...

Currently, 16/16 teachers of the school meet or exceed the standards; of which 1 teacher is an excellent teacher at the provincial level, the rest are recognized as excellent teachers at the district level. In the 2016-2017 school year, the school had 1 teacher who won the second prize for excellent teachers at the district level. From 2014 to now, 24 students of the school have achieved the title of excellent students at the district level, of which 3 students achieved high rankings, 2/9 students won second prizes in Olympic competitions in various subjects; every year 50% of students are awarded at the school level. Since 2014, both communes have completed universal primary education level 3.

With those efforts, in the 2014-2015 school year, the School was recognized by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Nguyen district as an advanced labor collective, and by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee as an excellent collective in 2016-2017. In the 2015-2016 school year, the School Party Cell was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Provincial Party Committee for "5 consecutive years of clean and strong Party Cell", and for the past 2 years, the School has maintained the title of exemplary clean and strong Party Cell... On December 24, 2017, the School was honored to receive a Certificate of National Standard recognition.

Teacher Nguyen Thi Chung - Principal of Le Loi Primary School said: Achieving National standards is a great success and joy for teachers, students of the school as well as the people of the two communes. The achievements today are thanks to the attention, investment and drastic participation of the leaders of the two communes of Hung Khanh and Hung Phu. In the coming time, along with maintaining the achieved title, the School is striving to maintain the scale of the school, further improve the quality of teaching to meet the learning needs of children of the two communes and successfully implement the requirements of educational innovation in the new situation.
