The joy of the young football coach of Song Lam Nghe An when he is about to get a raise
(Baonghean.vn) - Coaches at the Song Lam Nghe An youth football training center expressed their excitement after receiving information that they will receive a salary increase in the near future.

Currently, the salaries of coaches at the Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center are still very low, causing many coaches to fall into a state of psychological turmoil. The modest salaries are causing many coaches at the Nghe An football training center to gradually lose their dedication to the job of "ferrying players".
Meanwhile, some other localities have very high payment policies for coaches, leading to the situation where Song Lam Nghe An is facing a "brain drain".
Faced with that reality, on May 2, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee agreed to issue a policy to support coaches in training young football athletes in Nghe An province.
Accordingly, in addition to the benefits that coaches enjoy in Decree No. 152/2018/ND-CP dated November 7, 2018 of the Government stipulating a number of benefits for coaches and athletes during training and competition, head coaches will be supported with an additional VND 10 million/person/month, and assistant coaches will be supported with an additional VND 8 million/person/month.
Compared to the salary that coaches received before, this treatment has been raised to be quite suitable for current practical conditions. In addition to the allowance paid by the Sponsor, each coach at the Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center will receive approximately 19 million VND/month.
After receiving the above information, the coaches at the Nghe An youth football training center could not hide their excitement. They all believed that the newly issued policy would motivate, encourage, and help them feel secure in their work, and devote themselves to training young athletes.
Mr. Le Van Hung - Head Coach of U13 Song Lam Nghe An
I have worked at the Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center for nearly 20 years. Currently, my wife also works here. My family's life depends on the salary paid by Song Lam Nghe An. Because my income is not high and I have to take care of my children, my life is quite difficult. Currently, my family still has to rent a house. When I heard the news that the province agreed to the policy of raising the salary for coaches, I was very excited. With the new income, my family will be able to save a little more money each month and the dream of building a small house in the future will no longer be a distant dream.

Also after receiving the above information, I and the coaches at the center were motivated. I felt like I had a new source of energy to teach the athletes more enthusiastically. I think that with this attention from Nghe An province, all the coaches at the center will feel secure in dedicating themselves to their profession. Together, we will be determined to train talented players, bringing good results to the province's football.
Mr. Phan Tien Hoai - Head Coach of U17 Song Lam Nghe An

Before, I had thought about working abroad with the hope of bringing a better life to my family. However, when I thought about being away from my wife and children, I couldn't bear it. Now that I know my salary will be raised, my whole family is overwhelmed with joy. I can continue to work and pursue my passion in my own homeland.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Vinh - Assistant coach at Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center

I am at retirement age, so the salary increase does not mean much to me. However, when I received the information that the province would increase the income for coaches, I was still very happy. I am happy for my colleagues, because I see that almost all coaches at the center work with passion and always dedicate themselves to the football of the province. However, after them, there are also families and young coaches still have to face the worries of "bread and butter", so sometimes there are psychological disturbances. Now that they receive the attention of the provincial Party Committee and authorities at all levels, young coaches can confidently devote themselves.
Mr. Nguyen Huy Hoang - Head Coach of U19 Song Lam Nghe An

Compared to coaches at youth training centers nationwide, the income of coaches at Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center is quite low. This has somewhat affected the enthusiasm of the coaches. I see that, faced with such limited income, many coaches have had to look for additional work to do in their spare time. This has prevented them from devoting their whole heart and soul to "sharpening" the legs and minds of young players. In addition, because of the low remuneration, some coaches have had to find new places to stay. Therefore, I think that the promulgation of the new policy will contribute to motivating, encouraging, and retaining capable and qualified coaches, helping them feel secure in their work and devote their heart and soul to training young athletes.
Mr. Tran Quang Dung - Deputy Director of Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center
Currently, Song Lam Nghe An has 25 coaches, including 21 young coaches. They mainly rely on the monthly salary paid by Song Lam Nghe An. With the old income, the life of most coaches at the center is still quite difficult. Meanwhile, the qualifications and professional level of coaches at Song Lam Nghe An are highly appreciated. However, their monthly income is not much different from the team of amateur coaches working at community football classes. This has sometimes affected the mentality of some coaches at the center.

However, after receiving the information that the youth football coaches will have their monthly income increased, the brothers at the center are very excited. They will feel secure to stay long-term and contribute to the center. On behalf of the coaches, I would like to thank the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, departments, branches, especially the Department of Culture and Sports for understanding and sympathizing with the difficulties and hardships of the coaches at the center, thereby agreeing with the policy of issuing a policy to support coaches training young football athletes in Nghe An province.
