Since 2017, the section of National Highway 48 passing through the irrigation dam and the lake channel belongs toBan Mong Reservoir ProjectNearly 1.5 km long (including a 54 meter long bridge) was newly built, replacing the old section of National Highway 48. However, after nearly 7 years of construction, this road has been unfinished, making travel very difficult for local people.

Mr. Vi Van Tan in Tan Lac town, Quy Chau district shared: Previously, people had to follow the road to avoid National Highway 48, which was often full of potholes, and after each rain, the road became muddy, making accidents more likely to occur.
