Delegates attending the congress

At the congress, we noted many shared experiences from people of various ethnic groups about the changes in their lives in recent years. Mr. Ven Pho Khut, a delegate from Bao Nam commune (a delegate who will attend the upcoming congress of ethnic minorities in Nghe An province), happily said: “The congress further strengthens the solidarity among ethnic groups within and outside the district, especially with the two neighboring districts of Laos. The people wholeheartedly trust in the leadership of the Party and the State… Thanks to programs 134, 135 and other support policies, the ethnic minorities in the commune have been able to enjoy electricity, travel on less bumpy and winding roads, use clean water, and their children can study in sturdy schools…”

Delegate Xeo Pho Manh from Ca Da1 village, Bao Thang commune, said: "Although I'm almost 70 years old this year, I still came to attend the congress a day early. I'm very happy to see the infrastructure, the houses of the people on both sides of the Muong Xen town road are solid, and the public works are newly built, more decent and beautiful..." Then he boasted: "Two years ago, Bao Thang commune also had an inter-commune asphalt road, connecting villages within the commune, making travel much more convenient than before." Unable to hide his joy and excitement about the good price and harvest of Na Ngoi ginger, Mr. Ha Xia Phong from Phu Quac 2 village, Na Ngoi commune, boasted: "The villagers are very happy. The ginger model has been introduced to our Mong people for almost 5 years now, but this year we have a great harvest and good prices. Just the other day, I sold nearly 20 kg of ginger at 18,000 VND/kg..."

Not only did they greet each other warmly and proudly share stories of local economic development, but many also enthusiastically recounted their warm community life, filled with love, support, and sharing, the joy of harmony in each family, and their children's diligent studies...

The 2nd Congress of Ethnic Minorities in Ky Son District further strengthened the confidence and belief in the Party's leadership among ethnic minorities in general and the ethnic minorities in Ky Son District in particular.
