After many days of waiting, Thach was overjoyed to know his exam results. What he hoped for most came true: getting a 10 in the subject he had an advantage in. Sharing the joy of students who achieved high scores, Thach said: "In addition to studying at school and at exam preparation centers, I often go online to learn to improve my knowledge, interact with good students from many places, and join groups interested in natural subjects to exchange, interact, and learn."
Thach loves Chemistry, so he has spent a lot of time and effort on this subject. Before the exam, he also hopes to get a perfect score in Chemistry.
According to Thach, to get a 10 in Chemistry, as well as other natural science subjects, the first thing is to have a solid grasp of the theory. In the advanced application part, you need to practice the skills of handling difficult exercises quickly and accurately.

Every day, Thach and his younger sister Bao An (who just passed the Chemistry exam as valedictorian of the 10th grade entrance exam at Phan Boi Chau Specialized School) often help their mother prepare vegetables for the market. Photo: Huy Thu |
Thach is the second child in a family of four children in Block 2, Dung town. Her parents work as farmers and sell vegetables at the market. In addition to raising four children, they also have to take care of their 90-year-old grandmother who has a broken leg and is bedridden.
Although the family's economic conditions are still quite difficult, in return, all of Thach's sisters are diligent and good at studying. Currently, Thach's older sister - Pham Thi Bao Chau is studying in her second year at Hanoi Medical University, her younger sister - Pham Thi Bao An just passed the Chemistry exam as valedictorian in the 10th grade entrance exam at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted (Vinh City), and her youngest brother is studying in the 7th grade.

Mr. Pham Van Ba (55 years old) - Thach's father excitedly said: "I do not put too much emphasis on high scores, creating pressure when my children take exams, but only hope that they will focus on studying and reviewing. This year, both Thach brothers got high scores in their exams, which is a great joy for the family.
Although raising the children will be more difficult and expensive, with three children going to school far away at the same time, while their parents only work in the fields and do small business, my husband and I will still try our best to raise our children to be good people."
With the dream of becoming an IT Engineer, Thach said he will study Computer Science at Hanoi University of Science and Technology as he registered. The joy of the valedictorian in a poor, studious, and good-at-studying family in Block 2 of Dung town seems to be spreading throughout the land of learning.
