Nissan Sunny upgrade price 518 million for Vietnamese customers

The B-class sedan creates a difference with the surrounding car panels and some interior points, the price is still 518 million.

Similar to the X-Trail, Nissan also added a trim package for the Sunny called Premium S, with front bumper, bumper, side skirts and spoiler, along with faux carbon details in the interior. The Sunny's appearance looks more youthful thanks to this package.

Premium S applies to the Sunny XV version. Apart from the visual upgrades, Sunny has no changes in engine or technology. The price is still 518 million.

Sunny Premium S has a moderate amount of equipment with leather seats, mechanical air conditioning with vents for the rear seats, smartphone connection screen, GPS navigation, rear camera. The engine is a 1.5 liter I4.

In the segment, Sunny has a design that is considered to be for middle-aged people, over 35 years old, not really suitable for young people like Honda City or diverse customers like Vios. Sales after the first half of 2017 were 399 cars, while its competitor Vios was 9,688 cars, many times more.

With the new upgrade package, Nissan hopes to attract more attention from young customers. The price of the Sunny is the lowest in the segment, but for Vietnamese customers, a low price is not enough to ensure high sales.
