Nissan Terra - New 7-seat SUV competing with Fortuner
The new model is developed based on the Navara platform and is first sold in China.
Nissan revealed that Terra is the company's new multi-purpose vehicle, equipped with a 4x4 drive system, developed for the Chinese market and some markets in Asia. Previously, Nissan's new SUV model was revealed at the end of 2017.

Developed based on the Navara pickup truck, the Terra uses Nissan’s new LCV chassis. The Japanese automaker has chosen China as the first market to sell the Terra in the first quarter of 2018, followed by several other countries in Asia, according to Mr. Ashwani Gupta, vice chairman of the board of directors of Nissan.
This person further explained that Nissan's chassis and LCV are growing strongly, as evidenced by the Navara pickup truck present in 133 markets worldwide. Nissan expects that with the appearance of Terra, its revenue will grow by about 40% by 2022.
Currently, Nissan has not disclosed information about the engine and equipment of Terra.
