Unable to hold on to love, young man stabs girlfriend to death
Waiting for his ex-girlfriend in front of the school gate, Dat pulled out a knife and stabbed her many times, causing her death.
At around 11am on April 27, Le Quoc Dat (18 years old) went to the gate of Tu Son High School in Luc Nam district, Bac Giang to meet Nguyen Thi Le Thuy (17 years old) to rekindle their relationship.
Unsuccessful in persuading her, Dat pulled out a knife and stabbed Thuy many times.

Due to severe injuries, the female victim died on the way to the emergency room. After committing the crime, Dat went to Truong Son police station (Luc Nam district) to surrender.
According to local authorities, Dat was unemployed and living a vagrant life. A few hours before the murder, he posted many negative statuses and personal photos of himself holding weapons on Facebook.
On the evening of April 27, the leader of Luc Nam district police said that the crime scene and autopsy examination had been completed. Dat is currently being detained by the Criminal Police Department of Bac Giang Province Police.
