Bomb explodes at the headquarters of Syrian state television.
A bomb exploded on the third floor of the Syrian state television and radio headquarters in Damascus on August 6, the Associated Press reported, citing local television news.

Three people were injured in the explosion. Television station is currently broadcasting the news.
In July, a gunman attacked the offices of al-Ikhbariya Television in the south.
Rebels
On August 6, the armed Islamist group Al Nusra Front also claimed responsibility for the kidnapping and murder of Syrian state television employee Mohamde al-Saeed and threatened to carry out further attacks against those "serving the al-Assad regime (Syrian President Bashar al-Assad)," according to Eastday.com. Al-Saeed was kidnapped in mid-July and "has been executed," Eastday quoted Al Nusra Front as saying in a statement.
