On the first working day afterLunar New Year holiday(6th day of Tet), Thanh Chuong district leaders have established working groups to visit localities, businesses and many rice fields to encourage and urge businesses and people to speed up the progress of their work. That is to speed up the completion of the 2023 spring crop with the goal of restructuring new varieties, high productivity and quality.

At the same time, district leaders visited construction sites and worked with investors to coordinate and resolve issues related to administrative procedures, site clearance, etc. to soon put the project into operation, contributing to job creation and promoting socio-economic development.

After inspecting a number of localities and enterprises, Mr. Trinh Van Nha - Chairman of Thanh Chuong District People's Committee happily said: "In the agricultural sector, during the Tet holidays, farmers in the localities went to the fields, boldly applying technical advances to intensively cultivate for high productivity and efficiency. At the same time, the district is actively working with Japanese partners to soon put the garment factory in Thanh Lien commune into operation in January 2023. When this factory comes into operation, it will create jobs for hundreds of workers and phase 2 can create jobs for 1,500 workers. The district is also actively coordinating with departments and branches to speed up the construction of Do Cung bridge connecting with Do Luong district; at the same time, speed up the construction of the road from Ngoc Son commune to Nam Hung - Nam Dan, connecting Truong Bon historical relic site with Bach Ma temple and Thanh Thuy border gate. In particular, the great determination set for Thanh Chuong district is to build new rural areas. Because in 2023, the whole Nghe An province There are 9 communes registered to complete new rural areas, of which Thanh Chuong district has 6 communes...".

In Hoang Mai town, one of the key areas of the province, the Party Committee, the government, businesses and people are also determined to achieve the socio-economic development goals in 2023. In particular, in 2023, the town celebrates its 10th anniversary. Therefore, the town closely coordinates with all levels, sectors and contractors to speed up key projects.

Mr. Nguyen Huu An - Chairman of Hoang Mai Town People's Committee added: Currently, Hoang Mai I Industrial Park has attracted foreign direct investment (FDI) projects, such asElectronic Components Factory Projectand auto parts phase 1 of Ju Teng International Group (Taiwan) and the Export Shoe and Sandal Manufacturing Project of Hoa Loi Group (Taiwan). Both projects started construction in September 2022 and are expected to go into production in the third quarter of 2023. That will positively contribute to raising the level of Hoang Mai town in particular and the province in general in attracting foreign investment. The town is also actively connecting with departments, branches and investors to speed up the construction of Hoang Mai Industrial Park II. On that basis, the working spirit of cadres, party members and all levels and branches of the town must be more urgent and more effective...".

Urge to complete the set targets

“Do not let the aftereffects of Tet affect your work!” That slogan has been concretized by all levels and sectors in action plans since the beginning of the year (before Tet). At the same time, leaders of departments and sectors always pay attention to thoroughly grasping and tightening administrative discipline, requiring civil servants and public employees to strictly implement regulations on sense of responsibility, working procedures, working style, attitude, and working hours to serve the legitimate demands of businesses and people.

Most typical inProvincial Public Administration Service Center, before and after Tet, strictly maintain the administrative procedure handling with the participation of representatives of departments, branches and units. Immediately after Tet, all officers assigned to positions were present, guiding and carefully handling administrative procedures for the people. In addition to assigning officers to guide, the Center also assigned officers to photocopy related documents for free for people and businesses coming to work.

To accelerate development and exceed the set targets, before the Lunar New Year of Quy Mao 2023 (January 19, 2023, the 28th day of the Lunar New Year), the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee issued a Decision to establish 5 Working Groups to direct and promote growth in sectors and fields to implement the 2023 Economic Development Plan according to the proposed growth scenario.

On that basis, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Heads of the Working Groups to direct the implementation of the Group's specific Action Plan in 2023, associated with the list of products (for industrial products, there must be specific factory addresses), areas that need to be inspected, urged, supported to remove difficulties and obstacles, and reported to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (through the Department of Planning and Investment) before February 15, 2023.

The Steering Committees shall direct, urge and inspect the Directors of relevant departments, branches and sectors and Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, cities and towns in implementing the main tasks and solutions set out in Decision No. 162/QD-UBND dated January 18, 2023 of the Provincial People's Committee on promulgating the main tasks and solutions to implement the Socio-Economic Development Plan and State Budget Estimates for 2023. Direct, urge and inspect the Directors of relevant departments, branches and sectors and Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to review and develop specific growth scenarios for each sector, each field and each key product, clearly defining targets, tasks, solutions and assigning specific directions to promote growth, striving to complete the goals and targets approved by the Provincial People's Committee.

The Provincial People's Committee assigns the Working Groups to, on a quarterly basis, closely coordinate with the General Statistics Office, relevant departments, branches and units to update implementation data according to the actual situation, propose growth scenarios for the following quarters for the assigned sectors and fields to recommend and propose measures and solutions to focus on directing and operating to ensure the completion of the set annual targets; report to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (through the Department of Planning and Investment); assign the Department of Planning and Investment to preside over, urge, synthesize and report on the performance of the Working Groups at the Provincial People's Committee meeting. With that spirit, along with the participation of businesses and people, Nghe An province expects to complete the socio-economic targets set in 2023./.
