(Baonghean.vn) -Tam Hop Secondary School - Tuong Duong district is located near the Vietnam-Laos border. The school currently trains both primary and secondary school levels with 418 students.
Due to many difficulties, the school has not organized meals for boarding students. Therefore, after each class, the students return to their rented rooms, contribute rice, and cook rice together. Each month, a boarding student receives a state subsidy of 460,000 VND and 15 kg of rice. To ensure enough rice and money for students to eat and study, Tam Hop Secondary School has issued a regime for students once a week. Tam Hop commune has no market, the economy is not yet developed, and there is a lack of food sources for students, so their daily meals are mainly white rice and green vegetables. Difficulties pile up, but the students here still strive to study with the dream of escaping poverty.
