Trung Do Company's efforts to create a new breakthrough

Several years ago, based on research on the construction materials production market and implementing a strategy to expand production and business, Trung Do Joint Stock Company has been planning a large-scale, modern technology high-end construction materials production project located in Nam Cam Industrial Park.

However, due to difficulties in land, the Company had to survey and search for a new location. By early 2017, based on the socio-economic development orientation and construction material development planning of Nghi Loc province and district, the Company calculated and chose the investment plan to build Trung Do High-end Construction Materials Production Complex in Nghi Van commune (Nghi Loc).

After more than 1 year of developing a project to submit to competent authorities, in early 2018, the Company was approved by the People's Committee of Nghe An province to invest in the project of High-class Construction Materials Complex in Nghi Van commune, the initial area of ​​the project is 28 hectares and the total investment is 1,025 billion VND.

These are all new products with modern technology, so they are supported by the province and are in line with the Government's plan to convert input materials for brick production (using hill land to produce bricks instead of clay).

With the above advantages and to take advantage of the opportunity, the Company quickly took action. In mid-2018, the Company joined the local government in mobilizing and paying compensation for 12 households to return their land to the locality to complete the procedures for handing over the land to the enterprise.

During the project implementation process, to be consistent with the project's long-term and sustainable development strategy, after arranging and balancing capital sources, the Company decided to adjust the total amount of 1,025 billion to over 1,600 billion VND and the recovered land area from 28 hectares to 42 hectares.

Therefore, from June 2018 to now, along with completing legal procedures for project adjustment to submit to the Provincial People's Committee, the Company is urgently preparing site conditions and equipment so that after completing the land handover procedures on the field, it can immediately start construction and installation of the factory.

According to the design, Trung Do High-end Construction Materials Production Complex in Nghi Van Commune is divided into 2 phases, in which phase 1 will build a Construction Materials Production Complex including 3 production lines of high-end large-panel tiles, the most modern technology from Italy, with a total investment of nearly 950 billion VND, with an implementation progress of 15 months from the date of the Investment Policy Decision; phase 2 will invest in the installation and completion of the High-end Large-panel Construction Materials Production Complex, the High-end Ceramic Tile Production Complex and Trung Do Hill Tunnel Bricks, with a total investment of about 700 billion VND, a capacity of 2.5 million m2/year and 110 million fired bricks/year, with an implementation progress of 24 months from the date phase 1 is put into operation and use.

To ensure project progress, the Company has invested about 70 billion VND for compensation, site clearance, purchase of construction equipment and machinery, site leveling, internal road construction, drainage ditches, factory floor leveling, internal traffic roads, etc.

At the same time, the Company's leaders are actively promoting negotiations and selecting production equipment lines abroad; searching for and inviting reputable partners and contractors nationwide to participate in supplying and constructing key items.

It is expected that after completing investment procedures and securing the site, the Company will start construction of the Input Material Processing Area and install the main factory to bring in the equipment line. If everything goes well, with the current construction level, the construction of the factory and installation of equipment and lines will be basically completed within only 6 months to 1 year.

It can be seen that, with the project investment of over 1,600 billion VND in the high-end construction materials production complex in Nghi Van, Trung Do Joint Stock Company not only demonstrates its capacity but also its confidence and determination in becoming the leading high-end construction materials manufacturer in the Central region. It is believed that with the great efforts of the Company and the support of the province, after just over a year, the first batch of high-end large-sized tiles from the Factory with a capacity of 7.5 million m2/year will be a new breakthrough development of Trung Do Joint Stock Company in the field of construction materials production.
