(Baonghean.vn) - A horrific explosion just occurred while everyone was asleep. The incident resulted in 2 deaths and 3 injuries.

The incident occurred at approximately 5:30 AM on April 14, 2014, at the home of Mr. Truong Van Giau (born in 1980, residing in Quen village, Lien Hop commune, Quy Hop district, Nghe An province).

After the explosion, only a few pillars of the house remained.

On the afternoon of April 15th, Mr. Lo Van Luu, Head of the Lien Hop Commune Police Station, Quy Hop District, confirmed the above information was accurate. According to him, at that time, while the villagers were sleeping, they suddenly heard a very loud explosion coming from Mr. Giau's house. When people arrived, they found a horrific scene with blood and victims. Mr. Giau had died, his father, Mr. Truong Van Vuong (57 years old), also died, while his two children and wife were injured and taken to the hospital by the villagers.

According to Mr. Luu, the explosion was believed to have been caused by Mr. Giau committing suicide by detonating a mine, but we don't know where Mr. Giau obtained the mine.

The district police are currently investigating the incident.
