Coal mine explosion in Russia: 6 dead, little chance of survival for 26 trapped miners

On the morning of February 28, while rescue forces were continuing to search and rescue victims trapped at the Severnaya coal mine in Vorkuta, Komi Republic, Russia, another explosion occurred, killing 6 people.
The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations confirmed that of the six people killed, five were rescue workers and one was a miner. The explosion also injured five others.
Previously, the accident at the Severnaya mine on February 25 trapped 26 miners underground, and their fate is still unknown.
