My Quy Tay Border Guard Station handed over 8 subjects to Go Vap District Police (Ho Chi Minh City) for handling.
Due to a conflict with a person named NNTQ, in the early morning of November 8, this group of people went to a house in alley 81, street 59, ward 14, Go Vap district to find Q. There, this group of people assaulted Q. During the fight, Phan Nguyen Duy Thuan pulled out a gun and fired two shots into the air to demonstrate his power. After causing the incident, this group of people got in a car and fled.
Go Vap District Police examined the scene to identify the group of subjects and organized an investigation. From the information collected, this group of subjects was on their way to Long An with the intention of illegally exiting the country through Cambodia to hide, so they contacted the My Quy Tay Border Guard Station for support. At 4:00 p.m. on November 8, the coordination team discovered these 8 subjects hiding in 3 rooms of a motel in Hamlet 4, My Quy Tay Commune, Duc Hue District, so they organized an arrest.
At the scene, the joint team seized 2 nylon bags containing ketamine drugs, 1 bottle of orange liquid drugs, 1 black gun made of unidentified metal, 2 rubber bullets, 2 used bullet shells, and 5 iPhones.
The subjects confessed that after committing the crime, they rented a car and went to the My Quy Tay border gate area in Duc Hue district to rent a motel to use drugs and find a way to illegally exit to Cambodia.
