Oil tank explosion, a worker from Nghe An had an accident in Malaysia

The victim was Phan Van Trong (24 years old), from Block 5, Quy Hop Town. Trong had been working as a mechanic in Malaysia for 4 years. On the afternoon of April 24, at 4:00 p.m., while he was welding an oil tank at a manufacturing facility in Prai Province, Penang State, the accident occurred.

It is known that this oil tank was out of oil, but when Mr. Trong put the welding torch in, it immediately exploded, causing him to be seriously injured, break his leg, and faint on the spot.

Fellow countrymen and people present at the scene transferred him to Sungai Bakap Hospital. Here, the doctor initially indicated that the leg had to be amputated, but his colleagues transferred him to the upper level, Seberang Jaya Hospital, Penang state.

Currently, some Nghe An compatriots in Malaysia are calling for donations to help Mr. Trong.
