Skytrax has just announced the results of its 2016 ranking of airports, airfields, and airlines around the world. Vietnam's Noi Bai International Airport has just been awarded the "World's Most Improved Airport" award by Skytrax, ranking 82nd out of the 100 best airports in the world.

Skytrax is a professional rating organization in the world aviation market, a prestigious organization in the field of consulting, evaluating the quality of products and services for airlines and airports worldwide. The results of this organization's annual and independent rating were presented at the world's leading aviation exhibition 2016 (Passenger Terminal EXPO 2016) taking place in Cologne - Federal Republic of Germany.

According to Skytrax, the vote for “The World's Most Improved Airport” was conducted based on the results of a survey of passengers flying at 555 international airports worldwide... Passengers were surveyed to vote according to criteria on the level of improvement in the quality of passenger services and the level of satisfaction after using airport services such as: VIP room service, terminal cleaning, sales service, food service, immigration procedures, security service, waiting time to receive checked baggage and entertainment facilities for passengers at the terminal...

Noi Bai International Airport has made a strong step forward, jumping more than 130 places in the world airport rating system.

It is known that the airports that have won the "World's Most Improved Airport" award are Charles de Goulle Airport (France) in 2015 and Frankfurt Airport (Germany) in 2014.

Along with the “World’s Most Improved Airport” award, in 2016 Noi Bai International Airport was also honored to be in the top 100 best airports in the world, ranked 82nd, up 136 places compared to 2015.

Previously, after being listed as one of the worst airports in Asia by the website Sleepinginairports.net in 2014, in 2015, Noi Bai International Airport was voted by Sleepinginairports.net as one of the 30 best airports in Asia.
