(Baonghean.vn) - Currently, the family does not have enough money to bring the body of the female student studying abroad in Japan back home, and the family has not even been able to pay off the money the family borrowed for their daughter to study abroad.

These days, people have gathered at Mr. Bui Huy Son's house (Dinh hamlet, Ma Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district) to wait for the body of Bui Thi Dien (born 1992, Mr. Son's daughter) to return home to hold the funeral.

On December 27, 2017, Bui Thi Dien suddenly fell and fainted in the bathroom. She was later discovered by locals and taken to the hospital for emergency treatment. “That evening, when I was about to go to bed, I received a phone call from the school. They also said they would send a relative to take care of her. At that time, only the fourth daughter in the house had a passport, so I told her to go take care of her,” said Mr. Son.

Despite the doctors' best efforts to save him, Dien's injuries were so severe that he died on the morning of January 2. Hearing the news was like a thunderbolt to his ears, but Mr. Son decided to hold back his tears and struggled to stand up to take care of everything. He knew that if he collapsed, no one would take care of his family.

“Since hearing the news, her mother has been crying and not eating or drinking anything. That’s why the whole family agreed to just say that their daughter is being treated in Japan,” Mr. Son said painfully.

However, for the past few days, Mrs. Bui Thi Hong (Dien's mother) has been hearing people gossiping and talking behind her back, so she feels that something is wrong. Therefore, whenever she hears her son's name mentioned, she bursts into tears and wants to die.

“Actually, my wife will find out sooner or later, there is no way to hide it, but with the health of the whole family worrying about her… if something happens to her, how can I survive?” - Mr. Son said, asking the Commune Health Chief to always be ready to come to the emergency room when his wife's condition is critical.

Mr. Son and his wife have 6 daughters, of which Bui Thi Dien is the third child but also the smartest and best student in the family. After graduating from a college in Hanoi, in early 2015, Dien discussed with her father about going to Japan as an international student.

According to Dien, when he comes here, he can work part-time to help pay for his studies and earn more money to help his family pay off their debts. Following his son's wishes, Mr. Son borrowed 200 million VND for Dien to pay for his tuition to go to Japan. According to the plan, by April 2018, Dien will finish his studies and be able to start working, but unexpectedly...

According to information from Dien's sister who is in Japan, today her body was cremated so it could be easily moved.

“Since the incident, my fourth daughter has gone to Japan to take care of the paperwork, but until now there has been no progress. We are very anxiously waiting for news from Japan,” said Mr. Son.

Knowing the information, the Nghe Tinh Association in Japan is calling on international students and workers here, with the spirit of mutual love, to help the family bring Dien's body back to his homeland soon.

Regarding the incident, Mr. Bui Trong Long, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ma Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, confirmed the information that Ms. Bui Thi Dien died while studying in Japan.

“Mr. Son’s family just renovated their house and is in debt. It is not clear exactly how much it will cost to bring the body back, but it must be quite a lot. I hope everyone can join hands and contribute to help the family,” said Mr. Long.
