The most time spent in the meeting was spent practicing various performances. Among them, “Remembering the Party and Uncle Ho” composed in the style of the Tho ethnic group’s khai re melody was a rather elaborate performance. All typical Tho musical instruments such as trumpets, drums, gongs, etc. were mobilized to create a unique atmosphere. Next were the male-female duet performances that were both simple and rustic, resolute and strong, but also profound and lyrical…
And so, the performances continued one after another, with everyone from the old to the young enthusiastically participating. Mr. Truong Van Phuoc, 96 years old this year, is the club's excellent drummer and excitedly said, "I love it, I'm so happy... With the club, more and more people know how to sing Tho songs and play Tho musical instruments, whereas before, everyone who knew about it just kept it to themselves."
As for Nguyen Thi Huyen, 15 years old, the youngest person in the club, she said: Before, I only came to watch the elders practice, but since joining the club, I feel I have a responsibility to learn and spread the passion to many people.

The Mo Village Folklore Club was established nearly ten years ago. In the early days, there were only about 10 members, but now it has grown to 34 members.
Mr. Dinh Ha Phuong, the club's chairman, added: Members come to the club because of their love and volunteer to participate. During these activities, the elderly and those who are knowledgeable about folk songs and dances of the Tho ethnic group become teachers who directly impart knowledge about folk culture to other members, especially the young.
However, the club currently operates mainly based on voluntary contributions from its members, so it faces many difficulties in operating costs. Therefore, it is in great need of support and assistance from professional agencies and local authorities. In fact, in addition to participating in current activities, club members also want to collect and preserve musical instruments, building the Mo hamlet folk culture club into a unique model, a typical example of socialization in the work of preserving and promoting national cultural identity in the period of integration and development.
