Thanh Son's fear and the cast of 'Brain Battle'
During the filming of "Battle of Minds", People's Artist Trung Anh, Thanh Son and other actors experienced fear and suffering that not everyone knows.
The film Dau Tri, currently airing on VTV1, attracts the attention and following of the audience because the film exploits major economic, corruption, and smuggling cases that are real in society. The Dau Tri script is long pages with dialogues dense with specialized and in-depth economic investigation language, requiring the actors' acting and dialogue to be standard and professional.
Therefore, memorizing lines and rarely used languages is a big fear and challenge for the cast.

For the first time playing the role of an economic police officer, actor Thanh Son had the opportunity to refresh himself with unforgettable experiences. In the VTV Connect program, Thanh Son shared that what attracted him most to Dau Tri was the difficulty of the role. When accepting this role, Thanh Son thought that if he played the role of a police officer, the thing he feared most was being stereotyped, framed and rigid.
Thanh Son shared: "Son is a very confident person in his ability to learn dialogue until the movie Battle of Minds, which was a real challenge because the dialogue has specialized words that I rarely use in everyday life. Therefore, to remember the dialogue and be able to apply it, speak naturally and comfortably was quite difficult. After a while, when I got used to it and it became a habit, I didn't feel embarrassed anymore."

With People's Artist Trung Anh,Mind gameThis is also the first film in his career in which he plays a police officer. Confirmed with PVDan TriPeople's Artist Trung Anh said the biggest challenge for him when playing Colonel Tran Giang was the dialogue.
The actor shared: "The dialogue is very long, with pages of specialized and in-depth terms, so it is a bit dry and difficult to remember. When speaking, it requires precision and accuracy in each sentence and each word. In addition, because the film is about negative issues, many other serious crimes and the character I play appears in a rather sensitive story, so when performing, I have to be very focused and skillful.
Many times I also have to "fight with myself" to blend in with the character and bring out the most realistic image of a police officer that can be on film. How to have the right demeanor, but also be gentle and approachable so that the audience can feel the character."
Actress Anh Dao plays Lieutenant Phuong Linh, the only "beauty" in the police squad in the movie "Dau tri". Playing the role of an economic police officer, the actress also could not "escape" suffering and experienced the most memorable "first times" in her acting career. The actress shared with Dan Tri: "My role has more dialogue than action, so when I read the script, I was startled because the technical terms were very difficult, there were many words I had never heard before. I also never had the feeling of finishing a scene and still muttering lines like when I played Lieutenant Phuong Linh. At first, I was always haunted, muttering in my head about learning lines. For me, that was also a challenge and a valuable experience."
The actress said that in the film, she and her colleagues had to act out many interrogation scenes in a 10m2 room, with no lights, no air conditioning, and no fans. The entire film crew had 10 people. "On cool days, it was fine, but on hot, humid days, everyone was sweating profusely and soaked," the actress said.
The actress told the story of her hardship when she first played a police officer, but it was also a memorable behind-the-scenes story: "Because I'm quite skinny, wearing the uniform made me look awkward and had some difficulty. When I wore the pants, I had to tie them up but they still didn't fit my waist. After finishing filming the scene in Lao Cai, I was able to change the pants, but the color was different from my co-stars.
Then one day, in a hurry to get my costume, I mistakenly wore actor To Dung's pants because the pants were similar in shape.
Each person only had one police uniform, one pair of socks, and one pair of shoes. Filming continuously for many days in not-so-cool weather, we had to be very careful."

Actor Xuan Phuc (Captain Phong) also confided in PVDan Trithe pain of filmingBattle of wits:"The first time I played a police officer, especially an economic police officer, I also encountered many difficulties and pressures because I did not have much knowledge and understanding of the economic police force. The next pressure was that the film was about extremely hot topics, which were receiving a lot of attention from the public and society. Therefore, I had to research, consult and listen to professional advice from my aunts, uncles, and brothers and sisters in the industry to build and transform my role as best as possible.
The film's dialogues are mainly sentences and words related to the profession, so it requires memorizing the lines 100% correctly, not allowing even one word to be wrong, and if I am wrong, I have to re-shoot. This is also a big challenge for me and other actors in the film.
Interrogation scenes require knowledge of the criminal's psychology, observation, and approach to make the criminal surrender and confess.
During the filming of the scenes of tracking down the smuggled goods warehouse, we had to film outdoors in the sun, stand on high hills or hide in the jungle to chase down criminals. Especially in the scenes of encircling a large crowd, all the actors had to coordinate very closely with each other. With the harsh weather around the beginning of June, it was really hot and hard."
