Hot: Husband shot wife dead with AK gun then committed suicide at night
The reason the suspect used an AK gun to shoot his wife to death is said to be due to emotional conflict, suspecting his wife of being unfaithful.
At 9:30 p.m. on December 29, a murder occurred in the area adjacent to Binh Thuan culvert, Sau intersection, Hai Hoa ward, Mong Cai city, Quang Ninh province.

A man named Hung (last name unknown, rented a room in Hai Xuan commune, Mong Cai city) used an AK gun to shoot his wife to death. The cause is said to be a love conflict, suspecting his wife of infidelity.
After the shooting, the suspect fled to Zone 1, Hai Hoa Ward, and hid in his ex-wife’s house (named Yen). There, Hung held 4 family members (including Hung’s 2 children, his sister-in-law and a friend) hostage. At that time, Yen was not home.

Authorities mobilized all their forces to rescue the hostages. However, after 30 minutes of hiding in the house, Hung used a gun to commit suicide and died. The hostages were able to escape.

Police have cordoned off the scene overnight for examination and investigation. The case is still under investigation.
