Dien Chau farmers buy 120 non-motorized rice transplanters

(Baonghean.vn) - With many superior features, suitable for production conditions, Dien Chau farmers have purchased 120 motorless rice transplanters to prepare for the 2018 spring crop production.

This type of machine is very suitable for farming level and production scale of households. Manufactured domestically, it has outstanding advantages such as being compact, easy to use, can move on all terrains including deep and low areas; the transplanting rows are conveniently adjusted to suit all types of rice varieties.

Planting for rice transplanters does not require complicated planting like imported transplanters that require planting trays, just planting like in the yard. The planting capacity is 40 minutes/sao while if planting manually, it takes 2 people/day/sao. Especially the price is reasonable, after the province's support policy, the transplanter is only about 3.7 - 4 million VND/machine.

To help Dien Chau farmers access the motorless transplanter, the District Agriculture Department has organized training courses on how to use the rice transplanter at 3 locations in the district. Currently, 120 farmers have registered to buy the machine to prepare for the 2018 spring crop.

After the demonstration model, Dien Chau will step up propaganda and implement support policies well to accelerate the introduction of non-motorized rice transplanters in the spring crop of 2018.
