After the fruit-bearing period during Tet, the garden is often weakened and needs proper care to help the trees recover quickly, preparing for the next fruiting season with good results.
Things to do are as follows: Pruning and shaping the canopy to stimulate the tree to produce new, healthy buds, helping the canopy to be airy, receiving enough light and wind; Applying lime to reduce soil acidity, limiting iron, aluminum and manganese poisoning for trees. Calcium in lime helps the soil to restore its structure, less compressed and more permeable to water. In addition, lime also inhibits the growth of fungi in the soil, promotes the effectiveness of organic fertilizers and provides calcium nutrients for plants; Applying organic fertilizers increases the effectiveness of chemical fertilizers, improves soil structure, retains water and increases some beneficial microorganisms in the soil; stimulates plant growth; Applying inorganic fertilizers in 3 stages, specifically: Post-harvest stage; flowering stage and fruiting stage, growing in the right proportion.
