Cabbage, which was sold wholesale for 8,000 VND/head before Tet (Lunar New Year), is now priced at 5,000 VND/head; farmers are making substantial profits, earning 8 million VND per sao (approximately 1000 square meters).

In the vegetable fields of Dien Chau and Quynh Luu districts, in the last days of February, farmers are actively harvesting various vegetables, most notably cabbage, kohlrabi, and tomatoes. “My family owns 4 sao (approximately 0.4 hectares) of land. Before Tet (Lunar New Year), we sold 2 sao of cabbage at 10,000 VND per head, earning nearly 40 million VND. Today we harvested 1 sao, and we expect to harvest the remaining 1 sao in a few days, marking the end of the season. In total, my family will earn a profit of about 70 million VND this winter.
