In the vegetable fields of Dien Chau and Quynh Luu districts, in the last days of February, farmers are actively harvesting various vegetables, most notably cabbage, kohlrabi, and tomatoes. This profit is due to the fact that planting cabbage on one sao requires less than 1 million VND in seed and fertilizer costs.

“My family owns 4 sao (approximately 0.4 hectares) of land. Before Tet (Lunar New Year), we sold 2 sao of cabbage at 10,000 VND per head, earning nearly 40 million VND.
