Hot: Saudi Arabian journalist confirmed dead
Saudi Arabia announced on October 19 that journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who went missing after entering the Saudi Arabian consulate in Türkiye, was dead.
Saudi Arabian prosecutors said on October 19 that after investigating they learned that there was an argument between journalist Khashoggi and people he met in the Saudi Arabian consulate on October 2.

The argument led to a fight that led to Khashoggi’s death. Eighteen Saudi nationals have been arrested and are being investigated in connection with the case. None of them have been identified. Royal court adviser Saud al-Qahtani and Saudi deputy intelligence chief Ahmed Asiri have been dismissed.
Previously, Turkish officials believed that journalist Khashoggi was murdered and dismembered inside the Saudi Arabian consulate in Istanbul. Turkey said that journalist Khashoggi was murdered by a group of 15 Saudi Arabian employees and that Mr. Khashoggi's body has not been found yet./.
