Hot: There will be a UN investigation into allegations of chemical weapons use in Syria
(Baonghean.vn) - According to Russian news agency RIA Novosti, late on April 13, 2018 (Vietnam time), the head of communications for the Syrian Government at the UN, Bashar Al-Jaafari, said there would be an investigation into the allegations of using chemical weapons in this country.

He affirmed that the Syrian Government will provide full support to the investigation team of the UN Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) to carry out its mission. Previously, the official representative of the OPCW also said that the experts are starting to leave for Syria and the team will start their work this Saturday, April 14, 2018.
Remember that in early April, the West firmly blamed the Syrian government of President Asad for using chemical agents to kill civilians in the city of Douma, in Eastern Ghouta, when the Syrian army was about to completely liberate this area from terrorists and anti-government rebels. Until now, the Syrian government has denied that the government of President Asad was responsible for this problem.
The Russian Foreign Ministry also asserted that blaming the Syrian Army for the incident was to cover up terrorism and justify the plot to attack Syria from outside. I wonder if the expert group of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (UN) will have the objectivity, honesty, and courage to conduct investigations and conclusions impartially and independently without any pressure in the coming days? Let's wait and see.
