Norwich 4-5 Liverpool: Crazy match

The "Canaries" and the "Reds" continuously chased the score in the match with the craziest scenario and the most goals in the Premier League this season.

The Premier League in early 2016 saw three 3-3 draws, considered the most exciting, dramatic and unpredictable matches of the season. But before Liverpool defeated Norwich 5-4 in round 23, everyone had to bow their heads in defeat.

Even if you can't watch this match live, fans will be surprised by the time the two teams scored. Norwich scored three goals in a row to lead 3-1 but the visitors immediately responded with three goals in a row to lead 4-3. In the second minute of injury time, Carrow Road went crazy with Bassong's beautiful long-range shot, equalizing the score. But the most exciting match of the Premier League this season did not end there. In the last seconds, Adam Lallana scored a powerful shot in the penalty area, helping Liverpool win 5-4.

The emotions from disappointment to hope were constantly changing for the players and fans of both teams but only one person smiled in the end. The team that made the fewest mistakes won the team that made the most mistakes.

"The defence was very poor and that cost us," said Norwich striker Steven Naismith. "If 11 players can't keep a clean sheet in two minutes, we deserve to be punished."

Defensive errors clearly created a rain of goals when both teams played unfocused at the back. This was a headache for Jurgen Klopp when his best defenders were injured. The red shirt players were often out of position, or in the situation where Alberto Moreno made an unnecessary foul that led to a penalty.

But the home team Norwich were the ones who paid the price for making more mistakes. Losing the ball in midfield forced the "Canaries" to counter-attack in a 3-on-3, 2-on-2 situation, and the result was an easy goal for the Liverpool striker. James Milner also scored a goal when facing the goalkeeper when the Norwich defender carelessly passed back.

Liverpool played quite disjointedly in this match and only really woke up when their opponents took a 3-1 lead. Immediately after conceding the third goal, Jordan Henderson rekindled the fire for his teammates with a volley to reduce the score to 2-3. From here, The Kop played more aggressively, actively pressing, making it easy for Norwich players to lose the ball.

Jurgen Klopp's changes also made a difference. The German coach moved James Milner to the left wing and brought on Lallana to help Liverpool score two goals. In the 90th minute, he brought on centre-back Caulker to play as a striker and the Liverpool new boy also contributed to Lallana's decisive goal.

With this victory, Liverpool has 34 points, climbing to seventh place. The Reds are five points behind fourth-placed Tottenham, having played one game more.
