On her personal page, actress Dan Le just revealed behind-the-scenes stories of 'The Judge', a film that took 11 months to film and just finished filming on December 5th and is considered a key film project of VFC that will air in March 2017.

She said: "Hoang Dung's father - a very smart and sharp man. He never entered a scene without knowing his lines fluently (the judge's lines were a whole page long). The man who, in the last scenes, had a stomach bleed and had to be rushed to the hospital with less than 4 units of blood left (while a healthy person has about 12 units of blood), his hands were shaking so much he couldn't hold a bag of water, he was sweating coldly but still didn't open his mouth to complain of being tired, not a word of urging to end the scene early."

'The Judge' not only had a long filming time but also took place mainly in mountainous areas. The film also had many night scenes so it was normal for the actors to work until 2-3 am. In addition, People's Artist Hoang Dung, who is the Director of the Hanoi Drama Theater, often had to return to Hanoi after finishing filming in a far away location. The long and stressful work, combined with the long travel, was also a reason for his stomach bleeding.

In 'The Judge', People's Artist Hoang Dung plays the role of Phan Quan (Boss) - Chairman and General Director of Phan Thi Company. Phan Quan is the underground boss of the border gangs - the judge of conflicts about money, love, and gang feuds that cannot be brought to court. This is considered a key role throughout the film.
