People's Artist Hong Luu was appointed Acting Director of Nghe An Traditional Arts Center.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 7, the Provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish the Nghe An Traditional Arts Center and present the decision to appoint the Center's Acting Director to People's Artist Trinh Thi Hong Luu.
Attending the announcement ceremony were comrade Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of Department of Culture & Sports; Representative of Department of Home Affairs.
Nghe An Province Traditional Arts Center was established based on the merger of the Center for Conservation and Promotion.Nghe An Folk Heritageand the Provincial Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe. The center has the function of performing arts to serve the people and political events of the province; researching, collecting,promote and preserve the Folk Heritage of Nghe An and folk songs and dances of ethnic groupsin the province; build and develop, improve the quality of activities of Vi and Giam Folk Song Clubs, to preserve and promote Nghe An Folk Song Heritage; Develop and preserve folk song, music and dance clubs of ethnic minorities.

At the Ceremony to announce the decision to establish Nghe An Traditional Arts Center, the Department of Culture & Sports also announced the decision to appoint the Acting Director of the Center and Deputy Directors of Nghe An Traditional Arts Center.

Speaking at the ceremony, People's Artist Trinh Thi Hong Luu affirmed: "After the merger, the center will have many specialized fields and tasks. Although it is difficult at present, I promise to fully develop my professional capacity, constantly improve and learn, and unite with the staff and actors to develop the center further."
