"I used to spend a lot of time teaching so I refused many invitations to act in movies. Maybe that's the source of the rumor that Minh Vuong was sick and ill, which is why he disappeared for so long," said Meritorious Artist Minh Vuong.

When asked about his personal life, Minh Vuong always smiles, the smile of someone who understands the happiness of an artist's life. It is the feeling of always being busy with films, plays and the work of teaching the next generations.

Meritorious Artist Minh Vuong always understands the true happiness of an artist.

Talking about his unexpected return through the movie “Nang dau order”, the 61-year-old artist smiled and shared: “I used to spend a lot of time teaching, so I refused many invitations to act in movies. Maybe that was the source of the rumor that Minh Vuong was sick and ill, which is why he disappeared for so long. Actually, I still go to school every day and participate in plays regularly. I have been living with diabetes for more than ten years now. I have been fine with injections, medication and a regular lifestyle. If I were forced to stop working, I would probably get sicker. I just keep acting and I am fine.”

In “Nang dau order”, Minh Vuong plays the role of a grandmother in the @ era - an elderly, elegant, polite, kind but also very meticulous and critical Hanoian woman. This role also marks the first time Meritorious Artist Minh Vuong plays a serious character on screen. In fact, she is a stage artist, with formal and systematic training, so she has participated in many types of dramatic and tragic roles at the Hanoi Drama Theater.

Later, when participating in several TV series and many comedy skits in the programs Meet at the Weekend and Meet at the End of the Year, artist Minh Vuong's name became closer to a wider audience.

The role of Mrs. Le is a meticulous old woman but not harsh, not evil, but always loving her children and grandchildren. She happily shared that director Do Thanh Hai himself called to ask her to participate in this role. Some people were also surprised because Minh Vuong agreed to change her image in the film, from a comedic, exaggerated, satirical role to a serious, upright role.

Artist Minh Vuong is very pleased with this new image: "The audience will see more or less their grandmother, their mother in the character of Mrs. Le. The grandmother's strictness is with the desire to discipline her children. I want the character of Mrs. Le to be both kind, witty, and cute, the more you watch, the more you love her." That is also Minh Vuong's outlook on life in real life.

She believes that in every family, if there are no strict grandparents or parents who let their children and grandchildren follow a free and unrestrained lifestyle, the family will be very chaotic and messy. In the life of Eastern people, family traditions and rules are extremely important.

Minh Vuong is very satisfied with his role in the movie "Nang dau order".
Meritorious Artist Minh Vuong shared that the most difficult thing when taking on the role of Mrs. Le is not her health but her hair. In real life or on the comedy stage, Minh Vuong is always comfortable with T-shirts, jeans, and "free" hair. Meanwhile, Mrs. Le's clothes, movements, and speech must be neat and flexible, causing her a lot of trouble. Because of that, on set, the film crew's makeup artists always have to keep an eye on Mrs. Le, and if she is not careful, they have to fix her hair. With high blood pressure and diabetes, Minh Vuong's body temperature is always high, plus the working atmosphere and the pressure of a meticulous role sometimes make her tired. Luckily, when the film was filmed, it was a cold spell in the North, so enduring her curly hair with all the clips, elastic bands, and gel on her head was less difficult.

“When I went to film, everyone in the crew always took care of me and asked me how I was. Knowing that my leg was sore, after each scene there was always a chair ready for me to sit on to rest,” she happily shared. That atmosphere also brought her excitement, making Minh Vuong forget her fatigue. After a day of filming, returning home, she was surprised because she felt the filming time was too short. Artist Minh Vuong said: “I regularly wake up at 4am every day, get an injection, have breakfast and then happily go to the filming set. The awareness of going to film every day makes me very happy. After the movie Nang Dau Order, I hope VFC invites me to make more films, because I feel better when I go to film.”

Meritorious Artist Minh Vuong said that what she cares about in her acting career is to make the audience love her, not for medals or achievements. Therefore, although she has devoted almost her entire life to roles on stage as well as on the small screen, Meritorious Artist Minh Vuong still humbly calls herself an artist. Seeing that young artists have reached the title of People's Artist while she has not, her friends urged Minh Vuong to apply, but she firmly refused. She said that her main job now is to teach at some places that train actors.

Minh Vuong has 11 years of teaching experience at the Department of Theater, Hanoi College of Arts, with two difficult subjects: performance techniques and voice techniques.

Although her salary is small, she has consistently spent time teaching young actors for many years. In addition, she teaches life skills and expressive language at a kindergarten every week.

For comedian Minh Vuong, money, titles, and honors are not important, but what is important is that she can do and contribute to art. That motto has followed her throughout her long journey and continues to be what helps her to be confident and inspire her students.
