Female police officer from Nghe An province wins high prize at the contest to learn about General Vo Nguyen Giap
(Baonghean.vn) - Lieutenant Cao Thi Hong Hanh - Do Luong District Police was honored to win the B prize of the contest Learning about General Vo Nguyen Giap.
On the evening of December 21, in Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province, the Closing and Awarding Ceremony of the contest on Learning about General Vo Nguyen Giap with the theme "Vo Nguyen Giap - General of the People" was held, chaired by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, in coordination with the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the General's birth.
The Central Organizing Committee received 355 excellent entries from authors and groups of authors from 67 provinces, cities, and affiliated Youth Unions nationwide. Among them, the representative of Nghe An, Lieutenant Cao Thi Hong Hanh - Do Luong District Police, was honored to win the B prize of the contest.

The contest to learn about General Vo Nguyen Giap with the theme: "Vo Nguyen Giap - General of the People" is organized to propagate to young people and people of all walks of life at home and abroad about the life, background, morality, brilliant personality, great contributions of General Vo Nguyen Giap to the revolutionary cause of the Party, country and people; expressing the pride and deep gratitude of the people and youth of Vietnam towards the General.
Sharing about her exam, the female police officer born in 1999 said: “As a soldier, learning about General Vo Nguyen Giap is my passion. The life, career, and pure moral example of the General make me truly admire him. This is what makes me really interested in participating in the contest. What is special about this exam is that I presented it in both Vietnamese and English with the desire to spread my feelings for the General to international friends.”
