'King Kong' movie's female lead shows off photo of herself eating wonton noodles in Hanoi
Brie Larson and the cast of the blockbuster "Kong: Skull Island" shared on social media photos of their first days in Vietnam.
Today (February 20), actress Brie Larson shared on her personal Instagram a photo of her tasting wonton noodles in Hanoi. In the photo, the "American independent film muse" is enjoying a bowl of wonton noodles with a plate of fried dough sticks. According to a private source of VnExpress, Brie Larson and the Kong: Skull Island crew visited many typical restaurants in the capital, including a long-standing and famous restaurant near the Great Church to enjoy Hanoi cuisine.

Brie Larson is a rising star in Hollywood. Another actor from Kong: Skull Island, Thomas Mann, shared a photo with co-star Jason Mitchell and director Jordan Vogt-Roberts eating in Ta Hien old street. Thomas was also impressed by the beauty of Pen Tower when he visited Hoan Kiem Lake.
The 120 members of the Kong: Skull Island film crew arrived in Hanoi on the evening of February 18. Vietnam is the third location for this blockbuster, after the US and Australia. The crew will stay here for more than a month and film in Ninh Binh, Quang Binh, and Ha Long.
Kong: Skull Island is the sequel to the blockbuster King Kong released in 2005, but is a prequel set before the original film. In early January, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that the film crew of Kong: Skull Island (also known as Titan) had completed the location survey phase in Vietnam. According to information from airport customs, the crew brought 45 tons of equipment, props, and costumes to serve the filming process.

According to a representative of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the scenes include Son Doong Cave in Phong Nha (Quang Binh province), Trang An tourist area, Tam Coc (Ninh Binh province) and Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh province) will be in the film. In addition, the crew also hired Vietnamese extras and stuntmen for more than a month of filming.
On the morning of February 21, the film crew will meet with the Vietnamese media to announce their plans for working here. The blockbuster Kong: Skull Island is scheduled to be released in 2017.
